Old Quarter Hotel

This hotel has a prime location in the heart of the Red Light District. It is just a 5 minutes walk from Central Station, a 5 minute walk from Dam Square and a 5 minute walk from the main shopping district of Amsterdam, including the Bijenkorff Department store.

Rooms:
The bedrooms are very basic but clean and compact and the toilets and showers are located outside of the bedroom and are shared with a couple of other bedrooms.

Restaurant:
Breakfast is served in the hotels bar which also has a small menu. Due to its location, there are many restaurants in the immediate vicinity offering numerous cuisines and budgets.

Exterior:
The exterior of this hotel is traditional as is its surroundings. It is the oldest part of Amsterdam and so the building and its exterior are typical Old Dutch crooked style.

Lobby:
The lobby doubles up as the hotels popular bar which has ample seating in a dark and cosy and typical Amsterdam atmosphere.

General:
This hotel has an excellent location in the heart of the red light district and close to all major sightseeing attractions, restaurants, coffeeshops, retail shops and Central Station. It is not a hotel where you will spend a lot of time in the room but if you are looking for budget accommodation in an unrivalled location, then this is a perfect choice.
