La Josa was transformed from an Old Pepper Sequero, which was a place set apart for the production of paprika and chestnut. Oak and Stone make up the foundation of its construction. It has common areas, living and dining room, each with it's own fireplace, in what once were bower and block of the house. The fireplace, wood aromas and the warmth of its decorations will take you back in time. In the adjacent building houses the six rooms at our disposal. Free Wifi acess for customers throughout the house including rooms. On our farm you will find a variety of trees and vegetations, like oaks, figs, Olives, pomegranates fruits, strawberries, pear, hornbeams (Sacred tree of the Celts), peach, plum, cherries, grapes, cinnamon, medlar, elm, alder, willow, lilac bushes, etc.

The hotel is situated in an exceptional location, 185 km from Madrid, 200 km from Salamanca and 250 km from Valladolid. Near to the hotel are many places of interest to tourists, which are easily accessible by car. For example: a 1st century Celtic Iron Age settlement, prehistoric cave paintings, the sanctuary of Chilla and, in Candeleda, the 15th century church, La Asunción, which houses an ancient ceramic altarpiece made in Talavera. Local villages, such as Chilla, Los Empalaos in Valverde, El Peropalo in Villanueva and El Jarramplás, are famed for their popular traditional festivals and are also accessible by car. The distance to the nearest bus station is just 4 km away, and the nearest airport is in Madrid, less than 200 km away.The rural house is a single-storey building with exterior stone walls 60 centimetres thick and woodwork on the outside and the inside. This makes it efficient to cool in the summer and heat in the winter. Guests are welcomed into a reception hall with 24-hour check-in and check-out service. There are five bedrooms, each looking out onto a different view of the Gredos Mountains or the valley of Tietar. The lounge has a wooden ceiling 6 metres high and a warm fireplace, which create an especially spacious and comfortable atmosphere. There is also a large library with a superb selection of books of all genres. Guests can enjoy the view from a bay window and be captivated by the landscape or gaze at the night sky, with or without a telescope, to see the stars in all their splendour.
