La Catedral

The hotel is located close to the central park and the Cathedral of Santiago. It is just several minutes' walk from restaurants, cafés, boutiques and the colonial ruins.Originally this charming hotel was part of the Palace of the General Captains in the centre of Antigua Guatemala. Construction began in 1558, and further work was carried out in 1754 for use as residence of the General Captain. This magnificent building has been completely restored and offers a total of 8 rooms in a comfortable, romantic and cosy environment.
